37 Minutes From Hills Showground To Martin Place Station

The twin 15-kilometre tunnels run from Chatswood, under Sydney Harbour and into the CBD. The opening of the Metro North West Line in 2019 marked the successful implementation of Sydney’s Rail Future. Hills District residents are experiencing the benefits of a fast, reliable metro train system.

Stage 2 is on track to be delivered in 2024, with train testing to begin in 2023.
